How does LIM use my footage?
We offer these as high quality stock footage clips at affordable prices. Users purchase footage for use in accordance with our Licence Agreement for use. This does not affect your rights to the clips in any way.

What happens to my film clips that I submit?
LIM first has to approve your clips for publication. If approved, you only licence these to LIM on a non-exclusive basis – so you are free to use these any where else and send them to other stock agencies. Please see out Third Party Contributor Agreement for more details. If LIM rejects your clips – these are deleted.

GENERAL and CLIP USE
Where can I use LIM film clips?
Please see our Licence Agreement. You may use the video clips in or on videos, T.V. advertisements, educational videos, web sites, multimedia presentations, broadcasting video, and many other uses.

How long may I use the film clip that I downloaded?
You can continue to use the video clips that you downloaded for as long as you want – there is no time limit.

Can I sell the film clips that I download?
NO. Please see our Licence Agreement.

Can I sell templates that include your film clips?
No. This is against our Terms and Conditions and Licence Agreement.

Do you have any rights managed clips?
No. Please see our Licence Agreement. We do not offer the opportunity to purchase the exclusive rights to a clip -- the owner of the clip is free to sell it as many times as they want, on LIM and on other sites.

If I modify a clip, can I claim copyright to that clip?
You may modify any clip and use it, however, you may not claim copyright to that clip. LIM and its contributors continue to own all clips, whether or not they have been modified.

Does the film clip I download have a watermark on it?
No. Only the large flash preview of the clips has the LIM watermark.

What sizes do your film clips come in?
Clips are available in High Definition. The original format has usually been converted to HDV format to enable easy download (otherwise file sizes can exceed 200mb). If you require the original file, then please drop us a line and we can arrange for this to be made available.

Do your film clips have third party/model releases?
NO. You are required to clear any third party rights that you may think apply to any clip. LIM or its contributor own all copyright in the clips

We guarantee that the content is the same clip as previewed. Please see our Refund Policy

We do not store any credit card information for LIM footage; once transactions are complete, the data is safely deleted.
